COMMUNITY CLASSES
SKILL SHARING
I have worked with my hands every day for over two decades making things from a variety of materials. Whether it's tin, paper, fabric, wire—just about any simple material—I have ideas for creative and artful ways to use it. If you're looking for new ways to get your hands dirty get in touch and we'll design a fun and playful workshop for your small group.
BUILDING COMMUNITY
Honestly, there really is no better way to build relationships than to make and work alongside one another. An immediate comraderie and creative spirit is always unleashed. I love to share my love of materials and techniques with small groups of curious folks. If you have a handful of gal pals, work in a small office or need a great team building session for your non-profit, together we can design a morning or afternoon filled with creative fun. Get in touch today and we'll start the process.
HERE ARE SOME WORKSHOP TOPICS I'VE RUN MANY TIMES WITH GREAT SUCCESS.
I'M ALSO OPEN TO CREATING SOMETHING SPECIFIC FOR YOUR GROUP.
CURRENT CLASS OFFERINGS
COLLAGE
Absolutely the easiest and most accessible form of art making, collage is the imminently simple sticking paper to other paper. It's so fun and engaging, once you start it will be hard to stop.
TIN EARRINGS
Anyone can make beautiful earrings from tin. I've taught 10 year olds alongside their 75 year old grandmothers. This fun, colorful material is easily transformed into beautiful baubles for your ears, gifts for loved ones and simple meditations of making.
GELLI PRINTING
Share blog posts, products, or promotions with your customers. Use this text to describe products, share details on availability and style, or as a space to display recent reviews or FAQs.
DOODLE MANDALAS
I discovered this meditative and connecting technique completely by happenstance and would love to show you how a collection of simple lines and dots can suddenly become a tiny bit of art. This is the perfect technique to add to your meditation and nervous system regulation tool belt.
