Join me at The Mix in downtown Brunswick, Maine to play around with the simplest, and arguably, most fun way to make art--gluing paper to paper!
The session will take place Friday morning, September 4th, 2026 from 10a to Noon.
I have a stash of fun vintage papers and ephemera that I will bring to share. We can sit around cutting and gluing bits and pieces to bigger bits and pieces to see what emerges.
I like to work small, so I'll have Artist Trading Card and small sheets of bristol paper as the base level surface for your creations, but you can bring larger paper if you prefer that.
Join me for a couple of hours and I'll show you a few ways I like to create compositions, my favorite adhesive and whatever tips and tricks I've learned over the years. I'd love for you to bring some collage materials to share along with your own insights into how to create a compelling composition.
You'll leave after a couple of hours feeling relaxed and focused with the reminder that even 5 minutes of gluing paper to paper can be a huge calming influence on your nervous system.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations previous to two weeks before the workshop there is a 100% refund or a full credit toward a future workshop. Cancellations within two weeks of the workshop will receive a 50% refund.
