This week I started noticing all these bits of tin that looked like owl eyes. I made the first quirky owl and liked its little personality so much I ended up on a half day owl making jag.
Owls are typically related to ideas of wisdom and hidden knowledge, but I think of them as totems of silence learning to pay attention to your inner knowing. Owl energy can help you find clarity during times of confusion, inviting new insights and self-discovery into your world.
Each piece is hand cut, texture added, filed, finished smooth, constructed and then slightly formed for added rigidity and interest. The pin is finished with a super strong neobium magnet clasp that won't mar clothing. This piece can also be turned into a pendant ready to slip onto a chain or chord.
This piece is approximately 1” (24mm) by 1.75” (42mm).
